Leonardo is an mixed environment for developing and animating C programs. It is not intended to be a professional IDE, but it may be useful for visually debugging C programs and for creating algorithm animations in a declarative style. Leonardo allows you to compile and fulfil arbitrary C programs on the virtual CPU. Programs can be executed both forwards and backwards; it is possible to invert the execution of a programme at any time by means of a hold tool window. Leonardo includes a text editor with syntax coloring, a compiler for the ANSI C speech, a compiler for the Alpha speech, a reversible virtual CPU, a very elementary operating system for process, I/O and memory management, an mixed logic-based visualization system, and a elementary graph editor. Version 3.4 features dramatic improvements to Leonardo's ANSI C speech implementation, a break C preprocessor, and many tap fixes. What's New: Version 3.4.1 adds popup menus in text windows for listing defined C functions and for changing the font size, UNIX-like argc/argv patronise, reconditioned some bugs, added new programs to the repository.
