RIFE aims to provide a viable solution for rapid web application growth in Java without being troubled by the complex implications of J2EE. It's important that it allows the exercise of any additional components and that it doesn't enforce the user to dramatize altogether intermingled solutions. You use what you pauperism. No more, no less.RIFE is composed out of a vauntingly collection of modular parts, which include: web application engine, intermingled web continuations, customizable multi-format template engine (html, xml, sql, java, txt, ...) underpin for template content transforming through for example XSLT, authentication framework, database query builders, simpleton persistance layer, fault-tolerant JDBC wrappers and link pooling, web-oriented database utilities, central data repository, cron-like scheduler, locking framework, configuration framework. The central piece is the engine which formalizes altogether aspects of dynamic web growth.
