Coin3D is a solidification of libraries used for creating 3D graphics applications. Coin3D is portable over a panoptic range of platforms: Mac OS X, any UNIX/Linux/*BSD platform, and all Microsoft Windows operating systems. Coin3D is fully compatible with SGI Open Inventor 2.1, the de facto standard for 3D visualization and visual simulation software in the scientific and engineering community. Additional features in Coin3D include VRML97 substantiate, 3D levelheaded, 3D textures, and parallel rendition on multiple processors. Coin3D is released under 3 licenses: Coin Professional Edition: for the evolution of commercial applications. Annual fee per developer for commercial employment, no royalties or persist time fees.
