Tofu helps address the mutual problem that people don't same reading text on the screen. Why is that, anyway? I believe there are two main reasons: stock width and visual instability. Text is usually very broad on the screen, which makes release from the end of one stock to the beginning of the next difficult. That's why newspapers take constrict columns: It makes them faster to show. So why not fair take a normal window and name it narrower, scrolling down as you need? Well, there are usually a muckle of lines in a text, and all look more or less the same, so if they actuate past your eyes vertically, they are difficult to maintain track of. The text doesn't look stable, and you drive lost easily. In Tofu, text is arranged in columns, and each column is simply as eminent as your window. So lines are squeamish and constrict, they don't actuate about vertically, plus your text is forthwith in easy-to-digest chunks. You fair curl from column to column horizontally, and look more in command. Tofu also includes some other useful features to name reading easier for you. You can leap to any point in your text by but typing some letters near it (without choosing any command foremost). There's a "View In Columns" serving so you can, for example, catch some text from a web page. And it lets you apply your part to navigate text, so you can literally sit indorse and show. What's New: Version 1.2:You can forthwith save texts you take pasted, dropped or shown using the serving. They will be saved in unembellished text, RTF or RTFD format, depending on the content. Rich text is forthwith scaled to gibe your preferred font size as much as possible (based on the font size that occurs the near in a text). The View In Columns serving will forthwith lend Tofu to the front and won't result another vacuous window candid. Removed the Getting Started button from vacuous windows. Added Russian localisation. Fixed a beleaguer in the German localisation that would not cheeseparing unused windows when possibility files.
